Young Women in Excellence... "Personal Progress Can Change the World!"

I was in charge of decorating for our Young Women in Excellence Program at my church.  "Personal Progress Can Change the World" is such a fun theme and was easy to put together using some of my travel souvenirs I've collected over the years.
The program was held in the Relief Society Room.  Then everyone moved to the Young Women's Room to view the projects and have dessert.  My stepmother made this Teepee for my girls... It has the Eiffel Tower on the fabric so I thought it was perfect to include.  I bought the children around the world fabric years ago online.

The Laurels made this sign using a Cricut to cut the letters.  I love how it turned out!
I put gift wrap on either side of the chalk board.  On the top are glitter banners I found for .99 cents each from Walmart.  We used the Cricut to put Personal Progress on the banners.  The travel pictures are from a book I had bought from TJ Maxx.
I placed my travel books on a decorative suitcase... the table runner is from Belize. :)  My Globe Bookends were dated so I gave them a little makeover.   You can read about that here
The table's were placed in the middle of the Young Women's Room so the projects could be seen from either side.  It was pretty simple we used white table cloths and a map craft paper for the table runner.  The map paper is from JOANN'S and the world globes are from the dollar store.

The Laurels made each Young Women a personalized luggage tag.
The program was presented by the Laurels.  The theme:  We can change the world!  It ended with a musial number and closing remarks from the Bishopric.
