We spent the weekend up North playing in the snow. Charlotte kept saying "ho ho ho". Of course a child would associate the snow with santa. :) On our drive home we took 89A from Flagstaff to Sedona... a slower route but an unforgettable drive especially in the winter. The Canyon is a spectacular 16-mile gorge with streams and waterfalls between sheer rock walls. The drive takes a 3,000 foot descent from the the high altitude in Flagstaff to Sedona with beautiful red rock formations along the way. A pleasant surprise for those who think Arizona is just a desert!
