Requirements for a SKY GIRL...

In 1930

-Women could not be married

-Had to be under the age of 25

-Measure 5'4" or shorter

-Couldn't weigh more then 115 pounds

-20/20 Vision

-Sky Girls had to warn passengers to not throw smoking butts out the window

-Military salute the Captain when entering and leaving the plane

-Swat flies in cabin after take off

-Offer passengers slippers & assist in removing shoes

-Had to clean shoes before returning them

-Made sure passengers who used the lavatory didn't use exit door by mistake

-Carried railroad timetable incase a plane was grounded

-Nurses were hired as flight attendants
