A Funny Thing Happened on the Way To the Airport...
I had Recurrent Training (Flight Attendants review the best places to shop on layovers:)) yesterday and A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Airport. I was on the shuttle bus and over heard a man behind me on the phone and quickly realized that a man in front of me seemed to be responding to his questions. I thought that it was weird that they couldn't just have a conversation without phones.
"Where are you?"
"On the bus."
"Oh, me to... I'll just meet you at the bus stop."
I smiled realizing they were on the same bus on either side of me. They hung up... then the man behind me called his travel companion again to let him know they were on the same bus.
I had a good laugh!
PS... Flight Attendant Training is much more than comparing our new favorite shade of Mac lipstick... We go over really important things that will help save lives if needed.
