This summer we explored 7 States in our RV in 20 days. This is our longest RV trip so far and we loved the relaxed life on the road.

California's Pacific Coast Highway 1...
My family drove the PCH in our camper when we were kids. We drove from Arizona so it made for a really long drive for all 7 of us. When we weren't all fighting 😊 I remember my sisters and I checking out all the surfer boys from our cool ride. Another memory was driving down Lombard Street in our camper... We were so cool!

San Diego Layover...
I had a layover in San Diego and was able to catch the Parade of Lights in the Bay. It was the 40th anniversary with a "Back to the Future" theme. It was fun to see all of the boats decorated...

Sand Sport Super Show: Past & Present...

PAST
Old Geezer, Stacy & me at a car show with dad.
Still going to car shows with dad... We flew to Orange Country to check out the 2009 Sand Sport Super Show.

I don't really know a "good" Sandrail when I see one. To me a "good" Rail is the one with the best paint job. I liked this S&S Sand Car (nice paint job). My husband say's this is one of the fastest rails around. He's raced it at the drags and can't seem to beat it.
Yep... we'll be hanging out with "Big Ned" (dad) this season at the Imperial Sand Dunes (Glamis).

Stepford/Wisteria Lane... Does the perfect neighborhood really exist?
While traveling I always check out sites, people and the local architecture. Since I live in a desert when I travel I thoroughly enjoy trees, flowers and anything that is not South West or Tuscan (the current housing fad in Arizona) Design.
We stumbled upon a "perfect" neighborhood in Newport Beach, California. We even saw a Stepford Wife and Ken Doll saying their goodbyes in front of a perfectly manicured lawn. I felt like we were on a movie set. Could it be Wisteria Lane? We saw bikes propped in front of a perfectly designed home. Then we turned the corner and the Stepford children were selling lemonade. The lemonade was terrible... thank goodness, I can only handle so much perfection!
Welcome to Wisteria Lane...

CISCO BURGER

Cisco Burger is Jesse James restaurant just down the street from West Coast Choppers in Long Beach, California. Cisco Burger is environmentally friendly. They use solar power, biodegradable paper products and a hybrid delivery car. We liked the Chili Cheese Fries.

WEST COAST CHOPPERS
Just back from a long weekend in Southern California with some girlfriends. We stopped by West Coast Choppers in Long beach.

The Garage

The crew was very friendly. They brought out a bike they had just finished for a friend of Kid Rock. The girls were digging the pink bike!

GROUND HOG DAY?!
This past weekend I worked a 2-day trip with a long layover in San Diego.
I got to the airport and realized it was the same trip I worked last month on Friday the 13th with the same flight attendant and a delay on the same flight (I rarely work the same trip twice and I can go years and not work with the same flight attendant).
I was starting to feel like I was in the movie GROUND HOG DAY!
Day 1: Was one of those days... "I like my job, right?"
Day 2: "I love my job!"

Great layover in SD!

NEWPORT BEACH CHRISTMAS BOAT PARADE
It's always fun when I get to spend time with friends on a layover. Lori and I had a full day in Orange County shopping, catching a flick and checking out the Christmas lights at the Newport Boat Parade.
